We are starting a new aspect of the Leadership Tompkins Program with the 2016 class. We’re hoping to match them with a volunteer that is also an alum of the Leadership Tompkins Program for a few coaching sessions that will help the 2016 members develop more community connections as well as define their own local leadership journey.
I would like to thank Debi Hoover, 2015 graduate, for taking the lead on this new & exciting venture!
The time commitment is as follows:
November 30, 5pm at the Chamber of Commerce Training for Coaches (1.5 hours)
December 17, City Hall Council Chambers Networking Event for LT students and Community Coaches (1.5 hours)
Jan-Mar-one on one coaching between students/coaches 1 hour meetings (you can determine how often)
April 14 session-leadership planning with student/coaches 2 hours
June 16 Attend 2016 Graduation
If you are interested in being a coach for the class – please answer the following survey questions so we have information to match you with our current class members.
If you cannot attend the training, we can work with you – however – the Dec and Apr dates are program specific and we would need you to be available in the afternoon (probably 3pm on) on those days.
you are a leader." --John Quincy Adams
